DAYTON, Ohio (10/04/10) – Sinclair Community College announced two new shows for its galleries this fall.

The Burnell R. Roberts Triangle Gallery will feature recent work by Glen Cebulash. The exhibit focuses on Cebulash’s interest in the connection between memory and plastic imagination. Cebulash has changed his focus from landscape, still-life, and portraiture to more abstract works of art.

The work of Francis Schanberger, entititled From Walking,will be featured in the Works on Paper gallery. Schanberger became interested in collecting parts of trees during the spring allergy season. He then scanned the images and printed their transparencies on Japanese Kozu Unryu papers. The final result is a botanical study of trees in picture form.

The exhibits will ru n from October 18 to November 18. A reception for the artists will be held on November 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Building 13 Triangle Gallery.

All gallery hours are Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.
