Men's Basketball (10-5) holds on against Ohio University-Chillicothe 90-87

Dayton, OH – Sinclair Men's basketball returned home after being on the road for a month to take on the Hilltoppers of Ohio Univ-Chillicothe in a non-conference match up.

The Hilltoppers opened up the game with a quick 3 and didn't look back as the visitors held a double figure lead most of the first half. The Pride started to mount a comeback at the mid mark of the second half and slowly chipped away at the OU-C lead. The Pride was able to pull within 4 with about 4 minutes to go and would eventually tie the game with less than 2 minutes remaining. Down 2 with less than 10 seconds, the Hilltoppers missed both free throws that would have tied the game. Sinclair was able to convert on the front end of the one and one to give the Pride a 90-87 victory.

Sinclair was lead with a pair double-doubles from Jonathan Bibbs (6-4/Chaminade Julienne H.S.) 22 points and 13 rebounds and Jabriel Coaston (6-5/Cincinnati Roger Bacon H.S.) with 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Sinclair returns to action Wednesday night as the Pride take on the Clark State Community College. All home games are played in Building 8 on the Downtown Dayton Campus.
