Dayton, OH – Sinclair Men's Basketball team hosted Ohio Community College Athletic Conference opponent Lorain College today on the campus of Sinclair. Taking a one point lead into halftime, The Tartan Pride applied some strong defensive pressure late in the game and were 83 percent from the free throw line to take a 97-89 win.

Leading the way for Sinclair was Derek Ober (Dayton Jefferson) with 22 points. Carroll High School product Kevin Vest had 21 and British Alexander (Trotwood Madison) added 15 points and 7 rebounds.

Sinclair now stands at 18-4 overall, 5-3 in the conference and # 22 in the latest NJCAA National Poll.

Sinclair will return to action at home next Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 2:00 PM as they take on conference leader Lakeland College in Sinclair's Welcome to the Islands Game. The game will be a part of a Tripleheader involving Sinclair Women's team and The Wright State University Women's team. Wright State will host #22 in the nation Green Bay at 6:00 PM. Sinclair basketball is played at the Physical Activities Center in Building 8, on the campus of Sinclair.
