Sinclair (9-2/0-0) Women’s Basketball wins against Ancilla C.C. (IN) (3-5/0-0) 62-46.

Dayton, OH – Sinclair Women’s Basketball team hosted Ancilla C.C. team this afternoon in a NJCAA Region XII contest.

Coming off a home win against the University of Dayton club team on Wednesday night, the Lady Pride came out strong on defense and dominated the boards with a + 13 rebounding margin. With a 5 point half time lead (24-19), Sinclair started the second half with more defensive pressure and easy transition baskets to push the lead up to as many as 21 points.

The Lady Pride placed 3 players in double figures this afternoon, Chelcie Gullett (5-05 Xenia H.S.) with 13 points, Jessica Plummer (5-08 Tippecanoe H.S.) with 10 points and Emily Frey (6-00 Versailles H.S.) with a double/double 12 points and 12 rebounds. The 9-2 Sinclair Women’s team will return to action Tuesday the 29th of December (5:30pm) at home for non-conference match up against Ohio University-Chillicothe.
