Dayton, OH- The Sinclair Community College Theatre department will hold open auditions for talent scholarships on Friday, February 27. Auditions are to award talent scholarships to students who intend to major in theatre performance or campus.

Auditions are to award talent scholarships to students who intend to major in theatre performance or technology in the Fall of 2009. Scholarship awards cover up to 12 credit hours of tuition per quarter plus a book stipend. Students may also qualify for academic or need-based scholarships.

All participants must bring a resume. Performance majors should prepare an audition of not more than four minutes, which can include one or two monologues or songs.

Theatre Technology majors should bring a portfolio and/or be prepared to discuss interests and experiences in theatre technology and design. All participants will receive complimentary tickets to a Sinclair Theatre performance.

Auditions will begin at 4:00 p.m. in Room 2L12, on the lower level of Building 2, on the Sinclair campus. To schedule an audition or for more information, call the Sinclair Theatre and Dance department at (937) 512-4580.
