Sinclair Community College

Tartan Athletics

As a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association, Sinclair's intercollegiate sports programs, including men's baseball and basketball and women's basketball, tennis and volleyball, are in the spotlight.

For the 2007-08 year, our Tartan Pride teams received well-deserved recognition from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC). Based on individual OCCAC-member school's average finishes in each of the seven sanctioned sports, Tartan Pride athletic teams were awarded the OCCAC 2007-08 All Sports Trophy.

By finishing in first place for both men and women's basketball and placing second in baseball and third in volleyball, Sinclair's Tartan Pride achieved this honor with an average 9.250 out of 10—above second place Owens Community College who finished with a 8.714 out of 10 average.
