Dayton, OH – Sinclair (11-13/4-4) Women’s Volleyball won 3-1 against the visiting Univ of Cincinnati – Clermont (15-7).
Playing in the fifth and final game of the home stand, Sinclair avenged an early season road lose to the Cougars and extended the home win streak to 6 games.
Losing 18-25 in the opening game was frustrating for the Pride as they battled too many service errors and sloppy play to start the match.
Once Sinclair recovered from dropping game one, the rest of the match was never in question. Game two was over just as quick as it started (25-15) and the home team had evened the match at 1-1 and never looked back.
Games three and four followed suit as the Pride seemed to win every point and get to every loose ball. UC-Clermont started several rallies only to see Sinclair make one outstanding play after another to stop the visitor’s momentum.
The win tonight marks the 7th win in the last 9 attempts and it also reverses an earlier 5 set loss to the Cougars.
