Women's Basketball Team Assists Crayons to Classrooms

The Sinclair Women's Basketball Team is assisting Crayons to Classrooms as their community service project this year. Dayton's Crayons to Classrooms is a free resource center for teachers from under-funded K-12 schools serving children who live in poverty in the greater Dayton area. In partnership with local businesses, individual donors, and community volunteers, DC2C lifts at-risk children's level and love of learning by providing them with basic school supplies that are essential to academic achievement at no cost to the children's teachers, families or schools.

The Sinclair Women's Basketball Team is collecting items at all home games this season to be donated to DC2C. Items most needed are crayons, pencils, pens, glue sticks, folders, sciccors, rulers, notebooks, and filler paper. In addition, the women's basketball team is volunteering on-site. They assist with helping teachers fulfilling their supply lists from DC2C.
