Three-Peat: Sinclair Wins OCCAC Title Again

Pride Takes OCCAC Conference

Men's Baseball Team Wins Third OCCAC Title

The last two OCCAC Conference Championships were won on the field that day. However, this season, weather created a wild finish all the way to the last day.. Sinclair finished the season at 11-5 in the conference and overcame many obstacles that were out of their control. Finishing their conference games on Sunday, the Pride had to wait for everyone else to finish their seasons, to find out their fate.

On Monday, Owens (Who was eliminated based on Head-to-Head with Sinclair) hosted Cuyahoga for the first doubleheader and won both games. Those two loses would eliminate Cuyahoga from the championship race. Tuesday's games were rained out which meant that everything would come down to Wednesday. On Wednesday Owens traveled to Lakeland and once again helped out the Pride by defeating Lakeland in the first game of their doubleheader. That loss gives Lakeland five and Sinclair holds the tiebreaker.

The Pride found out the news after Wednesday's practice and the celebration was on. Sinclair will now head to their 6th straight regional tournament next week. ROLL PRIDE!
