College Travels to UAV Conference in D.C.

Representatives of Dayton’s business, research, academic and intelligence communities plan to team up next week at a Washington, D.C., conference to promote the Dayton region’s efforts to build itself as a center of expertise for unmanned aerial vehicles and related systems.


The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, which has an international membership of more than 6,000 individuals, is convening the Aug. 16-19 conference.

The local delegation is to include Sinclair Community College, Advanced Technical Intelligence Center for Human Capital Development, SelectTech Services Corp., Wright State Research Institute and the Dayton Development Coalition, organizer of the effort.
