Tartans Top 100 Against Southern State CC

Sinclair (2-0/0-0) Men’s Basketball tops the hundred point mark against Southern State C.C.(1-2/0-0) 103-89.

Dayton, OH – Sinclair Men’s Basketball team hosted Southern State Community College this evening in the second game of the regular season.

After a sluggish first half and trailing by five, Sinclair outscored Southern State by 19 points in the second half to seal the home court win. Leading Sinclair with a double-double Sophomore British Alexander (6-7/Trotwood Madison H.S.) scored 29 points and grabbed 17 rebounds. In his first start of the year Freshman De’Angalo Gates (6-1/Thurgood Marshall H.S.) scored 19 points and had 5 rebounds and handed out 6 assists. 

The Sinclair Men’s team will return to action Saturday at nationally ranked Mott C.C. (Flint, MI) and will return to the friendly confines of Sinclair Wednesday for a 7:30 tip against Miami Middletown.
