CAMPUS ORGANIZATIONS

African-American Men of the Future

The purpose of this club is to promote educational and mentoring support for African American male students. They sponsor a speaker's series, facilitate study groups, tutor high school students, assist with employment opportunities, and host other cultural awareness events. One of their most significant fund-raisers is the Night of Peace "Substance-Free" dance, which serves as a major social event for the College. They have been involved in the Black Man Think Tank at the University of Cincinnati, the 1998 Martin L. King March, and the Black Student Leadership Conference at the University of Dayton. The organization has received club of the year honors.
