The Scholarship Programs Department administers and coordinates the Society's major scholarship initiatives and provides members with up-to-date scholarship information. Currently more than 600 colleges and universities in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Canada offer more than $36 million in transfer scholarships to Phi Theta Kappa members. Ashland University
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
An unlimited number of renewable up to $6500 per year scholarships. A minimum 3.0 GPA and an A.A., A.S., A.A.S., or Canadian equivalent degree are required. Part-time students and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible. Proof of membership is required.

Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Honors Scholarship
An unlimited number of renewable $5,000 per year scholarships. A minimum 3.5 GPA, 23 ACT score and 15 semester credit hours are required. Scholarship is renewable if the member maintains a 3.2 GPA. Non-U.S. Citizens, part-time students and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible.

Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship
An unlimited number of renewable $4,000 per year scholarships. A minimum 3.0 GPA and 15 semester credit hours are required. Scholarship is renewable if the member maintains a 2.5 GPA. Non-U.S. Citizens, part-time students and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible.

Alumni Board of Trustees Scholarship
Three $1000 per year scholarships. A minimum 3.5 GPA and 30 semester or 45 quarter credit hours are required. Non-U.S. citizens, part-time students, and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible. This scholarship is non-renewable.
Preference is given to students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa and from two year institutions.

Phi Theta Kappa
One Hundred renewable $1,000 per year scholarship. A minimum 3.5 GPA is required. Non-U.S. citizens and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible. The student must enroll immediately following two-year college.
Members of Phi Theta Kappa who earn an Associate Degree will be eligible for an additional renewable two-year $2,000 Community College Scholarship.

Ten renewable $2,000 per year scholarships available. A minimum 3.2 GPA and 32 credit hours are required. Scholarship is renewable if a 3.0 GPA is maintained. Part-time students, Non-U.S. Citizens and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible. A letter of recommendation from a Phi Theta Kappa Chapter Advisor is required.
Scholarship is limited to two years. An application form is required.

An unlimited number of renewable $2,500 per year scholarships available. ($1,250 payable in the Fall and $1,250 payable in the winter) An Associate Degree and a 3.5 GPA from a two-year college is required. Scholarship is renewable if a 3.25 GPA is maintained. Non-U.S. citizens, part-time students and students with previous Bachelors' are not eligible.
Student will also automatically be eligible for a $1,000 Leadership Scholarship that is also renewable provided the student participates in a Myers Club organization.

Ohio University
Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship
One $3,900 per year ($1,300 per quarter) renewable scholarship for each of the state supported community and technical colleges in Ohio. To be eligible student must be an active member of Phi Theta Kappa, begin enrollment in Ohio University fall quarter only, completed a minimum of 24 semester/36 quarter hours of academic course work from a state supported community of technical college in Ohio, must enroll immediately following a two-year college, have a minimum 3.3 GPA on all work attempted and submit the application and official transcript by deadlines below. Scholarship is renewable if a 3.3 GPA is maintained. Students with previous bachelors' degrees are not eligible.

Phi Theta Kappa - Dean's Awards
Ohio Wesleyan University offers a limited number of renewable scholarships from $5,000 to half-tuition to Phi Theta Kappa members at the time of admission. A minimum 3.5 GPA is required. Non-U.S. citizens, part-time students and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible. Scholarship is renewable if a 2.75 GPA is maintained. SAT and or ACT tests results are required. If you are selected to participate in the OWU Honors Program, the honors scholarship will replace the PTK scholarship.

University of Toledo
The Community College Transfer Scholarship
These scholarships are renewable for one year and pay for instructional and general fees. Considered will be students transferring directly from one of our top six community colleges - Owens, Monroe County, Northwest State, Terra, Cuyahoga, and Lorain County. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher and have transfer credits of at least 15 semester or 12 quarter hours. They must also be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
The University of Toledo Scholarship Committee will determine incoming transfer student awardees based on cumulative college grade point average (GPA) and transferable credit hours earned. Transfer scholarships and awards are competitive and funding is limited. In order to receive priority consideration for fall semester, applications and transcripts must be received by March 15, 2004. Priority will also be given to honor society students and those with financial need as documented by the FAFSA. Students should submit a copy of their honor society membership card with the transfer admission application.

The Transfer Student Award
Transfer student awards of $1,500 will be given to students who have a minimum GPA of 3.25 or higher and have transfer credits of at least 15 semester or 22 quarter hours. Students must also be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. This award is renewable for one year. It is highly recommended that students complete the Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA).

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Three renewable $7500 per year scholarships for up to 18 hours per semester. Applicants must be admitted to Xavier University from a two-year institution and achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or better at each institution previously attended. Priority is given to students with an associate's degree. Part-time students and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible. Non-U.S. citizens must have attended a U.S. two-year college. The student must complete the Phi Theta Kappa scholarship application and be at junior standing when they transfer.
