Online Tutoring: eTutoring

Overview

Sinclair Community College has joined Ohio's eTutoring to provide free, professional online tutoring. Subjects often include: Writing, Math, (Developmental Math up to Calculus), Physics, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, and Chemistry. A listing of the current classes can be found on the weekly schedule.

The tutoring options available are:

  • The eWriting Lab - submit up to three drafts of the same paper to a tutor, ask for specific feedback and receive a tutor's response within 48 hours.

  • Live tutoring (or Echat) - meet online with a tutor in a one-on-one, fully interactive, virtual online session

  • eQuestions - leave a specific course question for an eTutor and receive a response within 48 hours.

If you are interested having an eTutoring account, please email The Tutoring and Learning Center at tutor1@sinclair.edu through your Sinclair email account. You will receive an email confirmation containing instructions on how to begin eTutoring. Detailed instructions on how to use the features are below.
