DAYTON, Ohio (10/13/10) – Sinclair Community College will host the Ned J. Sifferlen Center Building Naming Ceremony to honor President Emeritus Dr. Ned J. Sifferlen. The college’s Building 14 will officially be named the Ned J. Sifferlen Center.
Dr. Sifferlen led Sinclair at all levels of the college, beginning as a business technologies professor and eventually moving into roles as dean, vice president, provost, and president. In addition to decades of work contributing to Sinclair’s rise to a nationally-recognized stature, Dr. Sifferlen also served with distinction as an honored and recognized community lead er. Dr. Sifferlen’s many achievements within Sinclair and across the Dayton region were recognized by the top community leader award in Dayton, the President’s Club 2006 Citizen Legion of Honor Award.
