NSG 1200 Introduction to Nursing
Explores nursing as a personal career choice. An overview of practice areas, essential functions, basic ethical and legal responsibilities and professional behaviors expected of registered nurses and nursing students. Topics include history of nursing practice, the art and science of nursing, legal and ethics, professional behaviors, and basic medical terminology. This is a blended course containing both face-to-face and online elements.
