As the annual Realizing Awareness and Cultural Heritage (REACH) exhibit, Shades of Greatness, displays work from an estimated 30 contributors and honors the Negro Baseball leagues of the early 20th century.

Works in the exhibit include traditional paintings and drawings, as well as sculptures, prints commissioned by the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City, Missouri.  The exhibit also highlights a collection of jerseys from the Negro leagues that are part of an extensive collection on loan from Michael Carter, Sinclair's Superintendent of School and Community Partnerships.
