We offer two types of certificate programs: general certificate programs and short-term technical certificates.

General Certificates (CRT)

Short-Term Technical Certificates: Industry-Focused Training
Short-term technical certificate programs are designed to prepare you for a specific position or vocational area in high-demand industries in Dayton. These programs are less credit-intensive than the general certificate options and focus on key technical skills you need for a fast and efficient path to employment.

Explore online options for general and short-term technical certificates, supported by Sinclair's online tutoring and digital library services to keep you on track.
Some programs may require proctored exams or in-person components, so always confirm course formats in the Sinclair Registration Portal before enrolling.
Get Financial Support Through the Ohio Talent Ready Grant
The Ohio Talent Ready Grant helps students like you complete short-term certificates for in-demand careers in our community. This grant covers your cost of attendance (tuition, books, fees, and other education-related expenses) so you can focus on your education goals without financial barriers.

- Complete the Application for Admission to Sinclair.
- Complete and submit the Talent Ready Grant Application.
