Mentoring on the GO!

The Mentoring Collaborative welcomes agencies and organizations that would like to become involved with mentoring youth. We extend a special welcome if you're an individual who would like to become a mentor. We encourage you to review our list of Partner Agencies that offer direct mentoring services to youth.

This is the perfect time to start a mentoring program! The events below will help you learn how to become a resource offer quality and effective mentoring services. Whether you're a social service agency, a community organization, a faith-based group or an educational system, NOW is the time to begin the process of becoming a Certified Quality Partner to help the youth of Montgomery County.

Empowering Success: Culturally Relevant Dropout Prevention and Re-Engagement Strategies

October is Drop Out Prevention Month!

Dr. Tennille Love-Frost, Regional Center Advising Generalist, Huber Heights Campus will speak to the impacts of re-engagement on disconnected students and share individualized, culturally relevant strategies on how to support dropout prevention work in schools, families, and in the community relevant strategies on how to support dropout prevention work in schools, families, and in the community.

Partner Certification Training

Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring

This training is a requirement for all of our partner agencies to become a “Certified Partner". During this training you will learn about key guidelines that are geared toward starting a mentoring program or helping existing mentoring organizations endure and thrive.
