Ms. Cohen is the perennial winner of the "Clarinetist of the Year" titles from Downbeat, Jazz Times, and the Jazz Journalists Association. Fresh Air's Terry Gross credits Cohen with "bringing the clarinet to the world" and The New York Times hails her as a "Master". This two time Grammy award winner tours internationally and has performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival, The Montreal Jazz Festival, and the Newport Jazz Festival.
