The event will feature:
- Keynote Speakers: Robin Throckmorton, MA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Founder of Strategic HR Business Advisors and co-author of Bridging the Generation Gap and Christine McLaughlin, HR Business Advisor. Coming from the perspective of different generations, Robin and Christine will provide attendees with information to help them better understand and respect the similarities and differences across generations, exploring the key areas or communications, technology and mentoring.
- Outstanding Service Awards - To recognize a community leader, partner agency and dropout recovery school that is engaging in mentoring and re-engagement; whose collaborative efforts with parents, families, educators, and community members that promote mentoring in ongoing programs and that encourage student graduation success. MCMC and FFRC partnerships are a framework for how families, schools, and communities should work together to support student success.
- Panel Discussion: Building Relationships across Generations During this panel discussion, established mentoring matches representing different generations will engage in an intimate discussion regarding their mentoring relationships and how they encourage connections.
