DAUGHTER OF THE STRUGGLE - A Powerful one woman show written and performed by Ayanna Gregory

An incredible true story about the legendary Human Rights Activist DICK GREGORY through the lens of his daughter Ayanna Gregory and the family that loves him. With powerful stories and songs that lift the human spirit, Ayanna shares her unforgettable journey as a child of the civil Rights Movement. Set in a climate of lynchings, fire hoses, death threats and racial injustice, this is the story of a young girl's courageous march to find her own wings. Daughter of the Struggle chronicles one family's fierce commitment to change the course of American history and their willingness to die for freedom.

Daughter of the Struggle is a call-to-action for all of us to find our voices, tell our stories and take our places on this continuum of freedom, justice and healing.
