The purpose of this free conference is to create awareness of issues and social injustices that plague communities of color. It will also engage participants in developing strategies’ and identify resources that foster healthy communities and families.
The theme of this year's event is Racial and Cultural Economics, with keynote speaker Dr. Julianne Malveaux and breakout sessions featuring Sinclair faculty Amaha Sellasie, Robert Menafee and The Education Doctor, Dr. Pamela Ellis.
Continental breakfast will be provided.
