Bayard Rustin was a man with many aspects to his identity, just as we all have many aspects to our identity. He is credited as the man behind the March on Washington, the organizer who made all the administrative details happen. So why have most of us never heard of Bayard Rustin? In this discussion we will focus on intersecting aspects of his identity, as a gay black man, and how that can help us understand the question.
