Join us for an in-person screening of the 2017 drama film, directed by Stephen Campanelli – An adaptation of Ojibway writer Richard Wagamese’s award-winning novel, shedding light on the dark history of Canada’s boarding schools or Indigenous Residential Schools and the indomitable spirit of aboriginal people. This film follows the life of a Canadian First Nations boy as he survives residential school and life amongst the racism of the 1970s.
