Dr. Kenneth Madsen, OSU Associate Professor of Geography, will speak about his photography exhibit, Up Close: US-Mexico Border Barriers. He will present again at 2:00 p.m.
Using photos and maps, Dr. Madsen will discuss his study of border walls and fences. He will discuss the various types of barriers that stretch across the southern landscape and proclamation by the Department of Homeland Security that provide for the waiving of laws anywhere along the border in order to facilitate barrier construction. The exhibit will be on display in the LibraryLoggia and at the Dayton International Peace Museum.
