November is Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Month! Sinclair College Student Clubs & Orgs will compete in the Free Rice Challenge provided by the UN World Food Programme. Each club will have an opportunity to create a team and answer online trivia questions at their own pace starting at 11:30 AM on Monday, November 6 through 4:00 PM on Friday, November 10.
Each trivia question that is correct will provide grains of rice to a country/community in need. In addition, the team with the most rice given (highest number of correct answers) will be the Sinclair Student Club World Food Day Free Rice Champions.
*Not a part of a club or org? You can play a part too! Individuals can vote on which club/org they predict will win the challenge. Updates on scores will be announced on the SCSCOH. Students who select the winning group will be placed in a drawing to win a portable USB/Phone Charger & Sinclair T-shirt. Links to vote will be provided on the SCSCOH one week prior to the start of the challenge.
