Four Faculty Recognized by Ohio Magazine for Excellence in Education

Each year, Ohio Magazine recognizes outstanding educators at colleges and universities throughout the state.  For 2017, four Sinclair faculty are among those honored for Excellence in Education.  They are Moez Ben Azzouz, professor of Mathematics; Amanda Hayden, assistant professor of religion; Kalette Hittle, Physical Therapist Assistant Program; and Frank Liebold, professor, Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts.

In addition to the honor, Frank, who has been teaching at Sinclair for 23 years, was also featured in the article. “I want my students to be like Yertle the Turtle,” Leibold says, recalling the Dr. Seuss story about the reptile intent on ascending to new heights. “As the turtle on the bottom, I’m willing to give it all I’ve got to make sure they come out on top.”
