January 26, 2016 - The Sinclair Men's basketball team remains at #2 for the third straight week in the latest NJCAA Division II Basketball Poll.
Sinclair won both games easily last week to not only remain undefeated with the best start to a season (20-0) and the longest winning streak (20) in Sinclair history but now with the road win Saturday, they tied the school record for longest road winning streak at 11 games.
Sinclair is currently atop the OCCAC with a perfect 7-0 record after the 102-66 road win Saturday at Edison. The Pride also set a single game record on Wednesday at Wright State Lake as the Pride poured in 17 three pointers in the 132-89 victory.
The 102-66 win on Saturday at Edison was the 9th 100 point game of the season for the Pride placing this team tied for 6th in Sinclair history. The record for most 100 points games in a season goes to the 1986-87 & 1997-98 teams with 14 games over the century mark.
Region XII once again controlled the top two spots in this week's poll as Lansing CC (MI) and Sinclair CC (OH) occupied the 1 and 2 spots for the third straight week.
Wednesday Sinclair will start making their way back through the conference as they host Columbus State at 7:30pm.
