The Ohio Department of Higher Education Chancellor John Carey met with students and families October 5 in a roundtable discussion on the first year of College Credit Plus. Also on the panel were President Johnson, area high school superintendents and Sinclair College Credit Plus staff.
Over 52,000 students have taken advantage of college credit plus across the state, which is about a 300 percent increase, and a saving of about $110 million. “We know it's working, and we know there are other things that we need to work on, so that's why we are here today,” said Chancellor Carey.
