Xenia, OH – The Sinclair Baseball team (22-8, 7-1) hosted The Ohio State University Club team Tuesday afternoon April 8, 2014 in a non-conference game. Coming off a four game sweep this past weekend of conference foe Cuyahoga and in 1st place in the OCCAC, Sinclair seems to be hitting on all cylinders.
After outscoring Cuyahoga 34-4 in the 4 game sweep this past weekend, the Pride bats continued to pound the ball as Sinclair plated 16 runs in the first 3 innings Tuesday. It was over before it even started as Sinclair jumped out to a 8-0 after one and never looked back. Hitting was not the only game in town as the Sinclair Arms also continued to dominate the mound only allowing 4 runs on 8 hits with 8 strikeouts.
Starting pitcher, Mitch Asman (FR-Cincinnati Elder H.S.) recorded his 1st win of the season as he struck out 3 while only giving up 1 run in 4 innings.
