The Wind in the Woods Early Music Ensemble will join the Sinclair Handbell Choir for a concert on Tuesday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m. in Blair Hall, Building 2 on Sinclair's dowtown Dayton campus. Wind in the Woods performs on authentic early musical instruments. They join the Sinclair Bells to perform a set of Renaissance dances. The concert is free and open to the public.

The ODOT contractor Kokosing has installed a fence around the Third Street side of Buildings 6 & 7 due to work on Third Street as part of the I-75 renovation project.  (see attached map). On October 8, Sinclair College announced the largest College Credit Plus enrollment in our history. 2,275 students are enrolled this semester in College Credit Plus Courses, and Sinclair now has agreements over 100 school districts.  In addition, College Credit Plus students complete courses at a rate of 93%. Sinclair`s Concert Handbell Choir will perform on Tuesday, April 28th at 7:30 p.m. in Blair Hall Theatre located in Building 2. The choir is celebrating its 25th year in existence and will honor Dr. Robert Ruckman, chairman of the music department, upon the occasion of his retirement from Sinclair. The Sinclair Board of Trustees voted January 31, 2015 to pass a host of resolutions as they wrapped up their annual Board Advance. Among the resolutions were motions to instruct President Johnson to complete a feasibility study and roadmap on Sinclair offering bachelor's degrees, as well as a plan on financing options for the remainder of the Sinclair Master Plan for the Dayton campus. To enable an upgrade of the Tartan Card system, all Tartan Card (VTS) machines will go offline at noon on Friday, October 24, and all food service locations will close at 2:00 p.m.   Tartan card service will also be unavailable at the following locations after 2:00 p.m. on October 24:  bookstore, parking, bursar, athletics, and Registration for tartan card creation. U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown announced September 29 that the U.S. Department of Labor has awarded $1 million to Sinclair to create hands-on and work-based advanced manufacturing training programs. The Financial Aid & Scholarships office will be closed all day on Friday, October 3, 2014, for staff training.  Students can still turn in documents by placing them in the Drop Box outside the office.  We will resume normal hours on Monday, October 6, 2014.

Sinclair Basketball Coach Jeff Price announced July 15, 2015 that the Sinclair Men's Basketball program has signed Caleb Walker, a 6-4 forward out of Gahanna Christian Academy to a 2014-15 National Letter of Intent.
