What is the program about?

The Law Enforcement short-term certificate prepares students for future training and education in the field of law enforcement. Program Outcomes

• Assess the code of ethics for law enforcement and demonstrate the characteristics of law enforcement professionalism.
• Examine the past and present structure of federal, state, and local jurisdictions and the criminal justice components and the influence on law and society.
• Explore the development of law and explain the application of constitutional and case law by law enforcement in the criminal justice process.
