What is the program about?
This short-term certificate is intended for students who are interested in an entry-level position in the energy and sustainability technician field. The student will have the opportunity to earn their OSHA-10 card, and have the potential to sit for the LEED Green Associate exam and Building Analyst exam by the Building Performance Institute (BPI).Program Outcomes
- Identify and apply learned skills through an internship.
- Identify and apply sustainability applications for energy management and renewable energy.
- Demonstrate required safety skills within the sustainability and energy management field.
Career Opportunities
Career opportunities for students completing this short-term certificate include entry-level building positions as laborers, technicians, installers, operators, inspectors, and data collectors.
