What is the program about?
This certificate integrates technical Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) curriculum with business and entrepreneurship courses. There is a need in the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) industry for entrepreneurial technicians who have the knowledge and skills to apply advanced technology and intellectual property (IP) in a variety of high-tech applications. Related to UAS, this includes aircraft, sensors, avionics, software, data analytics, and other advanced technologies.
Program Outcomes
- Demonstrate creation of an organizational strategy and application of management tools for financial activities and business operations in support of a UAS related product of service.
- Assess appropriate UAS related technologies for an identified product or service and determine the best means for implementation and use.
- Develop a marketing approach for UAS related products or services.

The UAS Entrepreneurship one-year certificate will be incorporated into the UAS associate of applied science (AAS) and UAS bachelor of applied science (BAS), both of which are approved and accredited degree programs.
