What is Ohio Fellows?

The goal of the Ohio Fellows Leadership Development Program is to develop servant leaders by providing opportunities and an environment that fosters the development of leadership potential and skills among selected Sinclair Community College students.

The spirit of the program is to inculcate confidence, a strong sense of human values, and the integration and application of the servant-leadership concept.

Program Benefits

The annual cultural trip to Washington D.C. Travel expenses paid for by the Ohio Fellows
HUM 1195 | Patterns of Leadership (3 credit hours). Tuition and books for this courses is paid for by the Ohio Fellows program

Application and Selection Process

Applications are accepted year round and are reviewed by the program’s advisor within 2 business days of receiving.
Selected applicants will be scheduled for interviews based on availability of the applicant.
Students selected for the program will be notified within 1 business day of the interview.

Steps to Complete the Program

Flexibility in your schedule is important in order to be able to devote time and energy to projects that the Ohio Fellows members undertake.

Complete an autobiography within the first four weeks.
Complete the Growth Contract within the first eight weeks.
Meet with an assigned mentor during the first sixteen weeks.
Attend and report on two culture/public affairs events per term. The program subsidizes the cost of tickets, up to $30 per term.
Attend monthly program meetings.
Take on the responsibility of one leadership role during the program.
