eLearning Coaching comprises two coaching programs.
The FlexPace program provides in-course coaching for Sinclair's competency-based education courses, focusing on assistance with course completion, connection to resources for FlexPace students, and collaboration with faculty to ensure comprehensive student support.
eLearning Coaches in the FlexPace program reach out bi-weekly to discuss the pace of student work and upcoming progress milestones, share resources, and address student questions or concerns to assist with the completion of the course in the set goal number of weeks set by the student. Coaches also collaborate with instructors to help students navigate obstacles and concerns.
Information about registration, what to know before taking a FlexPace course, and more can be found at FlexPace.
The Coach Collaborations program provides course delivery support for new teaching faculty and faculty developers opted-in to the coaching service.
Coach Collaborations aims to increase the use of eLearn tools to deliver courses more effectively and build commitment to creating welcoming spaces for students. During a collaboration, coaches work with faculty in the course to improve student experiences, establish a sense of student belonging, develop a communication plan, and increase course completion.
