Friday, October 4, 2024

Manufacturing Day is an annual event hosted at Sinclair Community College in collaboration with FastLane for students who participate in the FlexFactor program. This event occurs on the first Friday of October.

Attendees are given a brief introduction to the various manufacturing programs offered in Sinclair’s Division of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through interactive demonstrations and presentations on Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, CNC Machining, Industrial Robotics & Automation, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Unmanned Aerial Systems, and Welding.

Industry Partner Opportunity to Network with Students!

This year, Sinclair will be hosting about 400 high school and middle school students.  Manufacturers in the Greater Dayton Area are invited to come and help us teach these students about careers in manufacturing.  Participating companies will have expo-style space with up to two 6’ tables in our gymnasium, and students will have the opportunity to visit tables that interest them.  Companies are encouraged to bring things that students can touch, watch, or interact with and swag is always a big hit!  If your company is interested in participating, please complete the registration form below by September 18, 2024.
