Students interested in earning credit through portfolio must participate in an instructional module via the eLearn system. This module provides detailed directions for what should be included in the portfolio, how it should be compiled, and examples. Portfolios are writing intensive and require reflection, documentation, and analysis of learning (not experience) done, and should be submitted via the module. A specific course must be identified and all course outcomes thereof must be addressed in the portfolio. Once the portfolio is completed and the assessment fee paid ($45), it will be evaluated for credit by faculty content experts utilizing a state standardized rubric. Students are able to complete multiple portfolios for courses via this online portal.
