Internships typically involve entry-level tasks and responsibilities related to the base of skills developed in the classroom. The Sinclair Office of Work-based Learning and the STEM Dean’s Office organize this event.

Manufacturing Day is an annual event hosted at Sinclair Community College that occurs on the first Friday of October. Attendees are given a brief introduction to the various manufacturing programs offered in the Science, Mathematics and Engineering division through interactive demonstrations and presentations. This year, the following areas will be highlighted: Biotechnology, Electronics & Robotics, Engineering University Transfer, Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology & HVAC-R.

Hosted by Sinclair's STEM Division and Office of School Partnerships, MCESC STEM Educators Visit Day provides local K–12 educators, counselors, administrators, career navigators, and other education professionals with an opportunity to explore Sinclair's career technology and skilled trades programs. Through guided tours and interactions with faculty, participants will gain firsthand exposure to STEM programs and career pathways they can share with their students. The event also brings together K–12 and higher education professionals to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and support students' successful transition from high school to college and STEM careers.

The Science, Mathematics & Engineering Division at Sinclair invites you to attend the Regional FlexFactor Finals. FlexFactor students this year worked in teams to identify a major world problem; conceptualized a product to address the problem, built a business model, then pitched their product ideas to a panel of education and industry experts. The Regional Finals includes the best teams from the area’s high schools participating. Join us to witness how FlexFactor is increasing student critical thinking, creativity and collaboration while informing students about career pathways in STEM and Advanced Manufacturing.
