Outcomes

  • Demonstrate facility in the use of handbuilding techniques,including slab and construction methods as well as the skills required to fashion the form throwing on the wheel.
  • Create ceramic works that display knowledge of glazes and basic glaze application.
  • Demonstrate through creating ceramic works that indicate a clear understanding of relevant design issues.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of kiln usage and firing procedures.
