AVT 4263 Commercial Pilot Fixed Wing Add-on for Rotorcraft Pilots
Provides students with the necessary skill, knowledge and aeronautical experience necessary to meet the requirements for a commercial pilot airplane certificate with single-engine, land additional class rating. Course Performance Standards require 55 hours of flight time and 100% completion of the course syllabus requirements. Additional fees including a course fee and a flight lab fee as well as other out-of-pocket expenses apply. Contact the Department for the current listing of these fees and expenses. One classroom, four lab hours per week.

Outcomes
- Demonstrate advanced flight maneuvers, maintain specific flight attitudes and ground tracks associated with an aircraft in the flight environment.
- Demonstrate correct use of complex aircraft systems including power settings, constant speed propeller settings and retractable landing gear.
- Demonstrate the correct use of fixed wing aircraft systems. Demonstarte knowledge of emergency operations and aircraft performance requirements.
