Examination of contemporary security issues in public and private spaces including risk analysis, critical incident management, inter-agency collaboration, specialized security fields, intelligence gathering and litigation.   • Analyze information and intelligence in determining the threat to a community that is based on a simulation or scenario related to a man made or natural disaster.
  • Assess the limitations of current security in information and technology, and explore pragmatic techniques to improve security intelligence and technology.
  • Explain and analyze the response of law enforcement and/or the military given a terrorist event and describe the effectiveness of the responses.
