CLT 2910 Histology Topics II
This course will provide instruction on immunohistochemistry, enzyme histochemistry, and electron microscopy. Students will also be provided a review for the board certification exam. Two classroom, three lab hours per week.

Outcomes
- Describe the basic laboratory techniques used in the histology laboratory, including: immunohistochemical staining methods and special staining techniques using immunochemistry and enzyme histochemistry. Identify principles and procedures of histological processing of enzymes.
- Describe the basic instrumentation used in the immunohistochemistry histology laboratory.
- Demonstrate an awareness of the proper procedures to protect self and the environment in a healthcare setting.
