- Understand and implement methods of monitoring and controlling indoor air quality.
- Understand heat recovery/reclaim devices and other energy equipment used to reduce energy consumption in HVAC systems.
- Demonstrate understanding of how computers and microprocessors manage HVAC systems. Connect wiring and interface with the systems.
- Demonstrate understanding of air properties, gas laws, and psychrometrics. Use tools, instruments, and procedures to balance an air distribution system.
