ISE 2360 Quality Management Systems & Auditing
This course covers the major components of a Quality Management System (QMS) as it relates to industry standards such as ISO, TS, FDA, and the Medical Device industries will be covered. The ISO 9001:2015 specification will be covered in detail. Quality System Auditing principals and techniques will be learned. Two classroom, two lab hours per week.

Outcomes
- Learn the major components of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) and how they can be applied in practice using the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
- Develop an auditing strategy to include understanding of the auditing process, how to develop an auditing checklist, collection of records during the audit, and creating the audit report.
- Develop the auditing skills (auditor characteristics, conflict resolution, interviewing techniques) to properly perform any audit.
