Outcomes
- Integrate knowledge of human neuromusculoskeletal anatomy into the study of physiological and biomechanical principles of movement at an introductory level.
- Explain and apply physiological and biomechanical principles as they relate to anatomical structures and functional movement at an introductory level.
- Perform basic joint mobilizations for the purpose of pain control to commonly injured joints, utilizing appropriate arthrokinematics principles at an introductory level.
- Analyze normal and abnormal musculoskeletal positioning and performance during static and dynamic postures, gait, and functional activities at an introductory level.
- Students will be able to demonstrate behaviors related to ethics, values, responsibilities, and professional communication in the healthcare environment at an introductory level.
