Outcomes

  • Students will identify basic techniques in the treatment of patients with pathologies resulting from dysfunction in the lymphatic, urologic, and genital & reproductive systems at a refinement level.
  • Students will demonstrate appropriate ethics, values and responsibilities in the healthcare environment at a refinement level.
  • Students will recognize critical elements within the plan of care established by the physical therapist at a refinement level.
  • Students will demonstrate competence in identifying selected components of interventions identified in the plan of care established by the physical therapist at a refinement level.
  • Students will demonstrate competence in identifying components of data collection skills essential for carrying out the plan of care established by the physical therapist by administering tests and measures (before, during, and after interventions) at a refinement level.
  • Students will demonstrate appropriate participation in the healthcare environment at an introductory and refinement level.
