Outcomes

  • Students will be able to demonstrate behaviors related to ethics, values, responsibilities, and professional communication during treatment of patients across the lifespan needing physical interventions at a refinement (Fall) or competent level (Spring).
  • Students will appropriately work within the plan of care when treating patients across the lifespan needing physical agents at a refinement (Fall) or competent (Spring) level.
  • Students will be able to demonstrate competence in implementing selected components of interventions in the plan of care established by the physical therapist during treatment of patients across the lifespan needing physical agents at introductory and refinement (Fall) and introductory, refinement and competent (Spring) levels.
  • Students will be able to select appropriate tests and measures for carrying out the plan of care established by the physical therapist during treatment of patients across the lifespan needing physical agents at a refinement (Fall) and competent (Spring) level.
  • Students will be able to effectively participate in the health care environment during treatment of patients across the lifespan needing common therapeutic modality interventions at a refinement (Fall) and competent (Spring) level.
  • Students will be able to demonstrate practice management skills consistent with the current standards in the healthcare environment during treatment of patients across the lifespan needing physical agents at a refinement (Fall) or competent (Spring) level.
